This is an agreement between you (our clients) and us (slite) that describes your rights to the use of our services. Top executives responsible for their respective organizations are most advised to read this agreement because all of the terms and conditions stated here are important and together create a legal and moral binding that, once accepted by you, applies to you and your institution.

By using our services, you agree to abide by this Agreement without modification by you. If you agree to the terms you may benefit from our services. These terms and conditions covers all features and services rendered by slite.

For the most part, our business approach is B2B. slite serves to inspire institutions / businesses with designs and visual stories that resonates with the people they serve.

Among our business offerings are: Web Design & Development, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics/Video Infographics, Digital Marketing, Consulting, Branding.

Our clients can trust us to deliver great designs and concepts that will have a great business impact for them.

Management and Maintenance
We may agree to take full responsibility of managing and maintaining our clients sites, especially the ones built by us. If the client agrees or wants. We charge a monthly/yearly fee to maintain and manage clients sites. The cost covers all activities we control to ensure that the site functions optimally: like updating contents on the site, providing insightful monthly reports showing site activity and performance, and helpful online tips that can help our clients. This management and maintenance may not cover some services out of the scope of our agreement with the client. If the client wants a special feature or add on services on their site, or demand for anything outside the scope of our agreement, the client may be charged for such service. However, any content published on the site must come from the client or must be approved by the client. Also, all tips provided by us that  may be implemented on the site must go through the consent and approval of the client. The client can not hold us responsible for any content published on the site after giving approval.

In cases where the client intend to manage the site by themselves, the management and maintenance responsibility of the site ceases to be in our care and we are not liable or responsible for anything that happens to the site thereafter.

Design Rights
For all web design projects designed or done by us for clients, our signature will be stated somewhere on the website. Example, “madebyslite.” For special cases where clients decide to hold ownership of the web design due to reasons best known to them, such cases will be treated and handled accordingly between both parties. In such cases, clients must be charged a fee for claim of intellectual property.

We may boast of all or some of our clients on our website and on social media platforms. We may also boast of the jobs we have done for our clients on slite’s website and on social media platforms. Our official handle is @slitedesigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Costs / Charges

We don’t have fixed prices, especially for our web design, graphic and motion graphic services. We negotiate with our clients, accordingly. Our Pricing mostly depends on the industry type; the perceived project complexity and the size of the institution. You are advised to clearly state the objective of your project with correct details about you and your institution so we can give you a price quote that is reasonable and agreeable.
slite accepts working on a project upon agreement on cost. Unless otherwise stated on paper. slite starts working on a project upon receipt of an initial deposit, and the client is charged the remaining balance upon completion of the project. When all payments are cleared, and the job accepted and approved, the job is finally shipped to the client. If applicable, hosting and domain name registration fees must be paid every month.

Additional services come at additional costs. If clients require additional services, the correspondent cost is added to their cost and they are charged, accordingly.

Delays in Project Completion may occur when

There is delay in any payments
The client requests further changes in the design, structure, or content of the project
There is a delay in the receipt of any materials from the client.
Time frame estimates are approximate only and are subject to change at any time at slite’s own discretion. At any time, and at its own discretion, slite may decide to put a project on hold.

How we Serve

We don’t promise our clients 100% satisfaction but, we won’t stop at nothing until our clients are fully satisfied with the solution. That is our promise. However, slite will under no circumstance be held responsible to satisfy any expectation or request that is deemed unreasonable.
Services or part of services (i.e. elements of a project) that have been approved by the client are considered as services with which the client is 100% satisfied. Any further work on these services (elements of the project) will be charged, accordingly.
Unless clearly specified otherwise, all project statuses are set as completed after one month of project completion, calculated from when the job was finally shipped and accepted. This doesn’t apply to hosting and domain name registration services, which are provided independently of the project status, and only according to the client’s payments. On the other hand, we may agree to manage and/or maintain clients site on a monthly or yearly fee.
Clients are advised to keep in mind that at the moment we outsource our branding and motion graphic services to trusted companies that achieve great results and according to the client’s specified requirement and objective. These third party companies have no right or claim to the jobs slite assigns to them. These jobs are shipped to clients upon completion as jobs that was done and charged by slite.
Clients are advised to know that the websites designed by slite may be developed from scratch using PHP codes or using Content Management System like WordPress.
If client is not satisfied with slite’s services, client can ask for a refund on any unused monies. slite will be happy to exercise a refund, after doing it on thorough review.

slite doesn’t assume any responsibility or liability for the content of the websites she designs if the client decides to take control of the site after it is completed. We can only accept responsibility on the site by uploading or editing content on the site with client’s consent. This content must always be provided and approved by the client. Also, the client must be under an official agreement and a monthly/yearly payment plan in place with us to manage their website.
Because of the nature of web design and programming work, websites always appear differently on different devices. Screen resolution, operating system, and browser are just a few examples that may affect the way a website looks. The client must be aware of these possible variations and slite will not be held responsible for them.
